Retiring can be a great time to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of life, but for me, I worried that it would be a time of restlessness and boredom. I was looking for an exciting way to stay active after retirement, Full Time RVing was the perfect choice. With the freedom to explore new places, meet new people, and create lifelong memories, Full Time RVing is my ideal way to stay active and engaged in my golden years. From learning about different cultures to discovering new hobbies or activities, Full Time RVing has offered my wife and I an opportunity to make the most out of our newfound free time.

Our motor home, gave us the Freedom to go wherever we wanted without having to worry about booking hotels or finding transportation. We especially enjoy our motorhome because it affords us all the comforts of home, we have a kitchen and living area, so we can relax in comfort.

I pretty well had a trailer, fifth wheel, or motorhome for the past 30 years. I was working in film in the Motion Picture Industry until film transitioned to digital in 2013. Film kind of died on the vine, so to speak, and so did my career. Oh, I did have some training in digital technologies, but not enough, and they no longer were hiring full-time in the area I worked in.

In 2011, my wife and I were RV camping at a lake in Southern California, we had the opportunity to pick the campground host brain about camp hosting. My wife and I knew that upon retirement, that would be what we wanted to do. At my retirement party in 2013, when asked what I planned to do, I did not say go the Disneyland, no, I said that I was going to sell the house, move into my 38′ Newmar Mountainaire motorhome, and camp host.

I found out that it wasn’t that simple, there were decisions that needed to be made, I needed a plan. I read some boring Kindle books, bought a course, and checked out Facebook sites, I could not find a workable escape plan for my situation.

Then a plan came to me, The 6 Steps to the Full Time RV Lifestyle course was conceived that day, and my wife and I began to implement it, it worked great. In fact, I have been able to share it with other campers in the campground that I work at. They all said that I should write the course and share it with the world.
